The 9th HTA ASIA LINK Annual Conference 2020.
“Global Health Technology Assessment (HTA) in Asia: Bridging True Evidence to the UHC benefit Adjustment”.
This is the greatest moment for Indonesia especially Ministry of Health and Center for Health Economics and Health Policy Studies (CHEPS) to be a committee of the 9th HTAsiaLink Annual Conferences, April 13 –April 17, 2020.
HTAsiaLink is a collaborative regional network consisting of HTA agencies in the Asia region. The network focuses on strengthening competency in HTA research by providing collaboration platforms to accelerate information and resource sharing among member of organizations. HTAsiaLink also focuses on raising the awareness of HTA utilization and its benefits, as well as promoting integration of HTA evidence into policy decisions.
Since its establishment in 2010, the network now consists of 24 agencies from 15 countries including Australia, Bhutan, China, Indonesia, Japan, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Mongolia, New Zealand, Philippines, Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam. The HTAsiaLink provides a scientific forum amongst HTA organization in the Asia region for discussion by welcoming key stakeholders, including: researchers, HTA agencies, policy-makers, academia, health services providers, patients, and patient representatives.
In the 9th HTAsiaLink, there will be held two workshops before main conference, three plenary sessions and several parallel sessions will be organized. The three plenary sessions include:
1. Appraising the UHC Benefits Baskets in Indonesia and Selected Asia Countries,
2. The Adoption of “Magic Bullet” of the CER Threshold in Asia Countries,
3. Political Economy of the HTA Decision Making Process: from Assessment to Appraisal.
At the end of conference, we will hold the “HTAsiaLink Board Meeting” as the opportunity to HTA Member meeting.
